About 25 years ago the founder of Global Villas Ltd, still young, single and fancy-free, went to Bali as part of a whistlestop tour of South-East Asia, but paused long enough to realise that he needed to go back again – soon and for longer!
So began his love affair with Bali, which continued on his honeymoon with his wife, and later also with his children. As a parent, he quickly realised that villas, rather than hotels, are the ideal way for families, friends and groups to holiday and share all the experiences Bali has to offer. That realisation set him to dreaming about creating an authentic Balinese villa experience on the island and, appreciating that many others would probably also like to share the same experience, PT Global Villas Bali (a subsidiary of Global Villas Ltd) was created.
After extensive (and I mean extensive!) research, the company settled on acquiring Villa Sagitta in Pejeng, just east of Ubud. Villa Cocoa Maya in Candidasa was subsequently purchased. More recently Villa Tau, also just outside Ubud to the north, has been developed and launched.
Global Villas is very serious about making sure that our guests’ hard-earned holiday goes well on our watch and therefore we manage the properties to the highest standards. It’s always fun to read our guests' reviews - there’s something very satisfying about knowing that our guests get as much enjoyment out of the villas as we do!
